One man, four women and a Roman Holiday
Writer/Director Gianni Di Gregorio is also one of the stars of this delightfully, warm and uplifting comedy. Gianni is unemployed and broke, with mounting debts for unpaid service charges on the apartment he shares with his imposing mother. However the solution to his problems arrives with the Italian Mid-August holiday, “Pranza Di Ferrogosto”, when most Italians head for the coast to escape the heat. He is forced to entertain his 93-year-old mother and three other feisty women, who will forgive his debts in exchange for his service.

Gianni Di Gregorio, born 1949 in Rome, trained as an actor and director at the drama school of Alessandro Fersen. He started his professional career as a screenwriter in the mid 80’s.
His directorial debut in 2008 was with the critically acclaimed film Mid-August Lunch. His other works are Gomorrah 2008 (screenwriter),The Salt of Life 2011 (director and screenwriter) and Good for Nothing 2014 (director and screen writer).
