A haunting, semi-autobiographical cinematic poem
The Mirror is the most intimate of Tarkovsky's works that explores the power of cinematography as a unique auditory and visual medium that can connect senses, play with memory and perception, take the audience on a journey through time.
The film features verses by the director's father, poet Arseny Tarkovsky, and much-loved actor Oleg Yankovsky and his son Filipp as father and son in the film.
