A tough yet tender and beautifully crafted human drama
Juan, Sara and Samuel, three Guatemalan teenagers desperate for a new life, set off on a perilous journey to cross the US border in search of the American Dream. Before that, though, there’s the small matter of safely traversing Mexico’s Badlands.
Winning critical and audience praise world over, this multiple award-winning debut film established Diego Quemada-Diez as a new and powerful voice in contemporary cinema.
