A young woman is torn between family, faith and illness

Having suffered a breakdown, a young woman seeks help from a priest, claiming she is possessed.

The film was inspired by the true and tragic story of Anneliese Michel, who believed her illness was caused by demonic possession.

A standout performance from Sandra Huller brought her the best actress award at the 2006 Berlin International Film Festival.
